God is in Control (where would we be without HIM?)

Dear Friends and Family,

We want to thank you so much for all the prayers that you prayed on behalf of us today - I can tell you that we definitely felt them!

We just got back from the doctor's office and we didn't get the news we were hoping for.

Both spots on his liver are cancer.

We will go to see the surgeon this week that resected his liver the last time to see if that is a possibility again. Our oncologist felt like it was a strong possibility and that we need to get it done ASAP.

After that she strongly recommended that he start chemotherapy. She is willing to send us to where ever we would like to go to get a second opinion but she said that he must take the chemo.

So....now we have a lot of decisions to make and some large bumps in the road ahead of us.

Please pray for wisdom and discernment in trying to find what path God wants us to take.

Please pray for our children - this is very hard on them.

Please pray for healing for Mark - we believe that nothing is impossible when it comes to Him and we have faith that if He can do all the miracles we have read about then He can heal Mark's cancer!

Also, please pray for the FCA ministry - Mark has a lot of important events coming up that Mark is in charge of and he has a lot of his plate right now. Please pray that he will be able to do what he needs to do and will have the strength when he needs it and the help when he doesn't.

We are very positive and optimistic - you know - someone has to beat the odds - why not Mark? Right?

We love you all - thank you ahead of time for your prayers for us through this time!

Mark and Lee

Psalm 61:3

For you have been my refuge,
a strong tower against the foe.

God IS our strong tower!!!!!!!

  4. Mark keep up the good fight of fe, knowing that HE who began the work in you is almighty, all capable, all powerful to finish it. HE hung the earth on nothing and has had it espinning around its own axle and spinning around its orbit since then with just the power of his word with which n HE created all things, we're praying for your full recovery by the power of his might with which HE resurrected Christ from the dead. HIS love is unfailing, unconditional infinite and eternal. His word says I honor those who Honor me, when you serve the Lord, you honor him therefore He will honor you with his healing power.

Psalm 71:1 In thee O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be put to confusin.
Matt. 11:28,29 Come to me all who are heavy & I will give you rest. What would we do without the word of God No the news isn't what we wanted to hear but we have to always remember God is in control. As parents we wish we could be the ones that could carry your burden. We have lived good long lives & would rather be sick then have you be sick. As well as praying for Mark we are uplifting you Lee & the children. Much love, Mom & Dad
